Hello,
Those rails are to improve the stability of the bed when you are using heavy pieces of wood. The access for maintenance is done by doors on the right side of the enclosure. All the details are in the group “SnapMaker offcial owner” on Facebook 🙂

I surmise they are to move the whole machine forward out of the enclosure for easy tool and work access. Am I right? That is a really good idea.
If so can you provide some detail on what parts you used and how you set it up?
